Love
Our job is to love others without stopping to inquire whether or not they are worthy.
That is not our business and, in fact, it is nobody's business.
What we are asked to do is to love, and this love itself will render both ourselves and our neighbors worthy if anything can.
Thomas Merton (1915 - 1968)

Snow in Woodstock
We got about two inches last night while we were eating dinner. Afterwards, we went out and played in it. Got the neighbors to join in after pelting their front doors with snowballs, or their cars as they were driving home from work. Built a 3.5 foot tall snowman from the snow in three yards. Owen and I made snowangels. When we got inside, his feet were frozen red. The boy had no socks on! This morning, most of the snow has melted but all the public schools are still closed.
