It was really nice weather on Saturday and after Chloe's nap, we decided to go for a walk on the nature trail. Kelley had had strep throat this week and this was the first time she felt up to walking anywhere. It felt so good to get out and the weather was gorgeous!
Along the way, we saw a lot of poison ivy growing (at least we thought it was poison ivy). We supposed it washed in with the floods, when the bridges were washed out.
We stopped at the stream so the kids could throw rocks in the water.
They liked making BIG SPLASHES!
Big smiles :)
When we got to the end of the trail, we hiked up the hill under the power lines.
Loved watching the girl child run with the wind in her hair. :)
I had to walk back up the hill and find my lens cap that fell out of my pocket. This is what I saw when I turned around.
Not sure what was on Owen's fingers, but Chloe was giving Dylan some much needed love.
Owen was in an exceptional mood and stood smiling for my camera. The lighting was perfect!
He had some crazy hair after sweating from running.
And then he got tired.
We saw these pretty daffodils growing across the street on our way home.
