Love

Our job is to love others without stopping to inquire whether or not they are worthy.
That is not our business and, in fact, it is nobody's business.
What we are asked to do is to love, and this love itself will render both ourselves and our neighbors worthy if anything can.

The Morning of Christmas Eve

After we woke up and had breakfast, the kids jumped back into wrapping more of their Christmas presents that they had carefully picked out for each, Todd and the Grandparents who would be coming the next day.  Both were very particular about how they wrote the name tags to each person, signed their name and even took the time to write "Happy Christmas" on the top of each tag.

Our silly Bean.

Jezzie watched over us in the hopes some spare wrapping paper would fall to the floor for her to play with and bat around the room.

They were both very interested in what the other was wrapping and writing.

They each loved every bit of the wrapping process and wanted to do it all.  by.  themselves.

After we finished wrapping, we moved to the kitchen to make the first and last batches of Christmas cookies for the season (Todd and I agreed ahead of time that I really shouldn't be making multiple double batches of cookies each weekend in December this year).  Owen watched over the mixer while Chloe scarfed raisins and watched the cartoons on in the family room.

She snapped to attention when it was time to decorate the cookies.

Owen had fun sprinkling sugars on the cookies, too.  Once the cookie sheets were in the oven, they were both off as fast as they could be to watch cartoons and chase each other around the house.  :)
