Love

Our job is to love others without stopping to inquire whether or not they are worthy.
That is not our business and, in fact, it is nobody's business.
What we are asked to do is to love, and this love itself will render both ourselves and our neighbors worthy if anything can.

Party with an Old Friend

Kelley's friend Trisha invited us all to a party at her house this evening.  The kids were immediately sucked in with the bounce house and making new friends.

Kelley and Trisha used to bicycle together all around Peachtree City in elementary and middle school while their dads worked together at Delta.

Kelley had not seen Trisha in close to 20 years, although her parents came to our wedding 10 years ago. It was like no time had passed, which was unexpected and so enjoyed.  (Trisha is on the left, with two of her friends).

Owen loves making this face for others, mostly because of the loud and shocked reactions he gets from others.

This was hanging in Trisha's bathroom.  Amen for good friends, who encourage, support and lift us up when we need it most.

The kids were not ready to leave, but we had already stayed later than anticipated.  An hour drive awaited us and both kids were passed out by the time we got home.
