Love

Our job is to love others without stopping to inquire whether or not they are worthy.
That is not our business and, in fact, it is nobody's business.
What we are asked to do is to love, and this love itself will render both ourselves and our neighbors worthy if anything can.

Trek to the Local Watering Hole

After Owen's soccer game, we headed home to pack up a picnic lunch.  Owen's friend Jourdyn (who is in his second grade class and also on his soccer team) came over to join us for a walk to the creek.

On the way, Owen found this flower for me.

Chloe thought the water was a little chilly.

Owen played catch with Jourdyn and his football.

They both loved that.

On the walk back, the kids found honeysuckle and had to stop to suck out the sweetness inside as they pulled out each of the stems.

They had so much fun walking to/from the creek and playing there.

On the way back, Owen somehow finagled Jourdyn into carrying his shoes for him.  Jourdyn said she didn't mind one bit.
