Love

Our job is to love others without stopping to inquire whether or not they are worthy.
That is not our business and, in fact, it is nobody's business.
What we are asked to do is to love, and this love itself will render both ourselves and our neighbors worthy if anything can.

Belt Testing

All of the low ranks (belt colors below the half way mark to a black belt) meet at the same time for their belt testing.

The kids warmed up together at the start.

With punches, hops and kiops (yells).

After warm-ups, the kids were called out by each belt color.  Chloe was the first of the yellow belts and stood waiting while on the others to show off self-defense moves while nibbling her fingers.

"Get back!"

Then it was Owen's turn to show his forms.

Kiop!

This boy has the highest kicks!

And jumps!

Anyone else impressed with how high over his head that foot goes?

After all the kids finished their testing, they lined back up on their stars so the judges could talk about what went well and what to keep in mind for their next testing.

Then it was time for the kids to turn and face their parents to bow.

And say thank you in Korean.
