Love

Our job is to love others without stopping to inquire whether or not they are worthy.
That is not our business and, in fact, it is nobody's business.
What we are asked to do is to love, and this love itself will render both ourselves and our neighbors worthy if anything can.

Breaking Boards

Today, the kids paid five bucks each to wear normal clothes (instead of their karate uniforms) and then break a wooden board at the end of class.

The kids got to choose how they would break the boards.  Chloe chose a running jump kick.

She got it on her first try.  Way to go, Chloe!

Then it was Owen's turn and he also chose to do a running jump kick.

He's got some good leapers!

I love the respect the kids are shown and how they shake hands with the instructors after particular accomplishments.

These kids cherish these boards they have broken and are so proud of themselves.
