Love

Our job is to love others without stopping to inquire whether or not they are worthy.
That is not our business and, in fact, it is nobody's business.
What we are asked to do is to love, and this love itself will render both ourselves and our neighbors worthy if anything can.

Driving Home

We headed out early Sunday morning and made good time coming home.  This rest area had plenty of room for the kids to run around.

Owen took off running without waiting for his sister or me.

It didn't take Chloe long before she realized she could play by the lake if she ran, too.

They found long sticks and rocks to wave around and throw in the lake.

I'm not sure what kind of tree this was, but it looked like little tomatoes grew on it.

The kids cooperated and let me take pics of them together on the bridge.

Chloe hung around longer to cheese it up for me while her brother was playing in the leaves.

Then she joined in the fun and searched for the largest leaves she could find.

They worked together to make big piles of leaves.

To jump in AND to kick around.

Todd drove the last couple hour stretch home while I got to kick up my feet and take pictures of the sky in the side rear view mirror :)
