Love

Our job is to love others without stopping to inquire whether or not they are worthy.
That is not our business and, in fact, it is nobody's business.
What we are asked to do is to love, and this love itself will render both ourselves and our neighbors worthy if anything can.

Owen Gets His Exercise!

This boy is constantly running throughout the entire soccer game.

Much of the time, he is controlling the soccer ball and keeping it away from the opposing team.

He has no fear when it comes to bumping up against his opponents to get the ball away.

I love how his whole body is leaning backwards as he kicks.  Such balance!

The referees are always so young in these games.  It's nice to see them show concern for the players when they wipe out.

Wipe outs don't keep our boy down...he's back up and in the game in a heartbeat!

Meanwhile, his sister has no interest in the game and is content to roll around in the grass on the sidelines.  Notice the shorts?  Those aren't actually shorts, but pants that go down to the ankles.  Bean was a little warm during this game.

Go Owen!  Get that ball!

Owen got to play goalie for a portion of the game.  He had a hard time getting the yellow vest on.

It kept getting wrapped around his arms and wasn't on him all the way until the first half was over.  Owen likes to play goalie because then if he gets the ball, he can punt it.  He's all about punting the ball!

Owen was back to running and kicking the ball in the second half of the game.

And Bean was still rolling around on the ground, getting tangled up in her princess lawn chair.  Silly Bean!
