Love

Our job is to love others without stopping to inquire whether or not they are worthy.
That is not our business and, in fact, it is nobody's business.
What we are asked to do is to love, and this love itself will render both ourselves and our neighbors worthy if anything can.

Hike to the Creek

Aunt Judy and Uncle Chris came over with Emily and Brian after the kids got home from school so we could show them the creek.  I think Maggie wanted to go because she was stretching good while we were getting ready to leave.

We made sure to bring towels with us since we all planned on wading in.

The kids always love leading the way and showing off their trail when we have company.  :)  And of course they had to skip the steps and opted to slide down the pine straw.

Along the way, we saw some cool lichen.

They always like to skip the bridge and walk farther through the brush so they can walk through the creek.

Check out Chloe's reflection...the water was so still!

This is a fun tree that the kids like to climb up and sit on.

But today it became a launching board.

Seems like we always spot new and cool plants every time we walk on our nature trail.
