Chloe's Birthday at School

I drove up to school to have a birthday lunch with Chloe.  Before walking out to the cafeteria for lunch with her class, she got a special birthday crown.

Chloe was so happy to have me there sitting next to her at lunch.  She had fun helping pass cupcakes out to all of her friends.

We were even able to talk one of the lunchroom monitors into taking a picture of us together :)  Chloe couldn't stop licking the icing off her fingers.

Birthday Party Presents

Since we got home from Chuck E. Cheese right before dinner and then the rest of the night was devoted to someone's birthday dinner, we waited until the next morning for the kids to open presents from their friends.  They had fun holding their new presents up to show us!

We love when the kids get clothes!  And they think new clothes are pretty cool, too.

Chloe's Birthday Dinner

After getting home from celebrating both kids' birthdays with friends at Chuck E. Cheese, we celebrated Chloe's birthday with the Grandmas and Aunt Kiki.  Before we jumped into dinner, Chloe opened up her package from Papa Wenzel and Grandma Sharon while talking to them on Grandma Suzanney's phone.

And a cool new pillow case that Grandma Sharon made from scratch!

And Hannah Montana pajamas.  Raise your hand if you think this child is getting spoiled? ;)

After dinner, she got to open up other birthday cards.  Doesn't she give great reactions?!

It was so nice having two of their grandmas here to celebrate, but she wished she had all seven of her grandmas at the table!  Then she might have gotten spoiled a little more :)

Chloe liked getting more new clothes and had fun holding them up to show us.  Silly Bean.

And then she got even more spoiled when one of her grandmas gave her twenty bucks!  She tucked it away and saved it with the rest of her money.  Chloe is a good one for holding onto her money and saving it up, unlike her brother who lets it burn a hole in his pocket.

 After the kids went to bed, Jezzie thought she'd help with picture alignment above the piano in her quest to catch some flying object invisible to human eyes.

Party At Chuck E. Cheese

We celebrated both of the kids' birthdays in one party at Chuck E. Cheese.  About ten kids came and they all had a blast using tokens, cashing in tickets, eating cake and playing with the prizes.

They danced in front of the blue screen which put their images right into a movie on the big screen with Chuck E.

They aimed plastic guns at moving targets.

They played ski ball.

Climbed on top of rides like little monkeys.  

Birthday balloons galore bounced over their seats.

 

 

The birthday cake had plenty of candles on top to be blown out.

Owen's last day with his buddy Gabriel.  Gabriel, Nicolas and Owen pooled all of their tickets together to get the biggest prize they could win from behind the counter.

They each got special crowns filled with more tokens for games.

They worked together to blow out the candles.

Then they got to go into the Ticket Blaster Booth together and grab for tickets that were blowing and swirling around.

There were high dollar tickets in this crazy booth.  Owen caught two of them that were worth 500 tickets each!

They both thought this was pretty cool.

Before the party ended, Chloe got hugs from Chuck E. Cheese.  Owen passed, but never explained why.  Perhaps he is too old for hugs from Chuck E?

I had made a deal with Owen that if he saved up $30 to contribute to a new (well, it's used found on Craigs List) camera that I would use my money to pay for the rest.  We drove up to Canton and met the seller in the Best Buy parking lot.  Here are the pics he took from that morning on the 19th to Chloe's birthday.  I thought you'd like to see.  He nailed the focus perfectly!

This Is What Six Looks Like!

Chloe awoke early on this Saturday morning, filled with the excitement of turning six years old.

Our guys were still sleeping, so I invited her out with me on the birthday morning doughnut run.  We arrived before they opened, so she kept me company in the front seat and played a memory game on my phone.

Chloe high-tailed it through the grocery store to the bakery once we got inside!

Much thought went into choosing her doughnuts and I was thankful I hadn't pre-ordered the sprinkles the night before. 

She chose a long John. 

The sun was rising on our way home, so we stopped to snap a few pictures.

Our guys were awake by the time we got home, so we dove into doughnuts right away.

 After we ate our doughnuts, Chloe opened her cards.  She loved that the Hannah Montana card sang to her.

After opening her cards, it was time to get down to business and open her birthday present.

Well.  Almost time to get down to business.

She is our Bizarre Beanarina.

And therefore had to make silly faces first.

And make sure we all saw the silly faces.

She amuses herself :)

Now back to unwrapping the present.

 

Chloe thought it was a pretty cool music box.  The ferris wheel spins around and the buckets swing as the music plays after being wound up.
