We started taking the dogs to a local dog park. It is a couple of acres fenced in completely, filled with tall trees providing plenty of shade and the ground is all covered in mulch. It is a cool place to go and one that we want to make a weekly/weekend routine.
Dylan has fun roaming off leash, but Maggie needs to earn that privilege by being nice. Since she has dog aggression issues, we keep her on the leash and are working on teaching her she doesn't need to protect us from other dogs. She is such the guardian dog!
