Love

Our job is to love others without stopping to inquire whether or not they are worthy.
That is not our business and, in fact, it is nobody's business.
What we are asked to do is to love, and this love itself will render both ourselves and our neighbors worthy if anything can.

Morning at the Farmer's Market

We arrived Friday night in Rochester.  Just in time to go with Grandma Vicki to her favorite Saturday morning excursion --> Farmer's Market!  But first, I snapped some shots from her townhome while we were waiting on everyone to get ready.

She had some gorgeous Coleus on her deck.

One of her neighbors had a cat.  On a leash!

Once we got to the Farmer's Market, it was partly cloudy and HOT.  It didn't stop people from crowding the whole marketplace.  There were tents galore, covering farmers of okra, rhubarb, bison, elk, pork, chickens, gladiolas and anything else that can be raised on a farm.  I don't think I saw anything that wasn't touted as organic.

Loooooved the raspberry table.  If they were free, I'm sure I would have snacked all day and consumed a good half of the table. :)

There were also booths set up selling sweets and pastries.

Grandma Vicki bought cookies for the kids to munch on while we walked around the whole marketplace.

The kids gave some of their money to the kids of one farmer so they could make balloon animals.  Chloe got a purple kitty cat and Owen got a grey sword.

Swords can also be used as pointers for items being added to little wish lists...

After walking through the whole Farmer's Market, the kids took a break and climbed a rock.  Because they're monkeys. :)

Owen was in a better mood for smiling than his sister.

After jumping down from this ginormous rock, we headed back to the car to drive across town to a kids' park.  I love that Owen still (very willingly) holds our hands when we are out walking.

Little monkey, testing the bars.  These cute flip flops gave her some bad blisters, so there were piggy back rides and talk of band-aids upon our departure of this park.  Poor girl...she still had very beat up knees and an elbow from her skid across the school parking lot the week before.

There might have been a bit of arguing between the two about helping the other get up.  Allegedly, this happened no matter who was on top.

But once they were both up on top, life was good.  They were free to dangle.
